Textbook Return Policy


Textbooks are returnable only if you drop the class. They must be returned within one week after drop/add, in the same condition in which they were purchased. We will verify all dropped classes with the Registrar. Shrink wrap and access codes must be intact. You must have your Bookstore receipt to receive credit in the original form of payment. Bookstore Management reserves the right to decline any return for any reason. If a change is made by the instructor or College, the Bookstore will exchange your book for the correct one.


General Merchandise Return Policy


Merchandise such as clothing, gifts, and supplies can be returned or exchanged within 60 days of the purchase date. The original form of payment will be refunded when the original receipt is present. Returns without a receipt will be given store credit at the current selling price.


Shipping Policy


The Grove City College Bookstore sends shipments by U.S. Post Office, UPS Ground, or UPS 2nd Day. Every effort is made to process and send merchandise within 24-48 hours after receiving your order. Please note, orders placed over the weekend or during College breaks will not be processed until employees return to work on the next business day.

Shipping fees are priced per item:

  • Post Office, no tracking info: $7.00 for the first item and $1.00 for each additional item. ** While this is the least expensive option, if the package is lost in the mail, we will not replace it. This is the risk you take for choosing not to pay for tracking or insurance. **
  • Post Office Priority Mail: $8.00 for the first item and $2.00 for each additional item.
  • UPS $12.00 for the first item and $2.00 for each additional item.
  • UPS 2nd Day $45.00 for the first item and $10.00 for each additional item.
  • ** Please note: If you live within approx. 150 miles of Grove City, Ground shipping will often deliver your package as fast as 2nd day, so there is no need to incur the additional charges. **
  • If you need Overnight shipping, please contact the Bookstore before placing your order so we can calculate the charges for you.
  • Diploma frame orders are charged $18.00 for shipping. Fees for rush shipping of diploma frames will be added to the $18.00.
  • Smaller items such as gift certificates or window clings will be charged only the amount of the postage.
